Obama Dangerous To The Second Amendment

Professor John Lott taught at the University of Chicago when Obama first went there to teach.

Lott tells the story of when they were first introduced, and Obama said something like, "Oh yeah, you're the gun guy!" (Lott has written great books showing factual evidence that the more citizens who carry guns, the less crime there is).

Obama, according to Lott, then said something like, "I don't think American citizens have any right to have a gun", a direct contradiction of the Second Amendment. -- Terry Rayburn

======================

Both the Heller and McDonald decisions - recognizing the Second Amendment as an individual right - were decided by a 5-4 margin. Obama has already put two anti-gun Justices on the Supreme Court; one more and he will have an anti-gun majority. Defend Freedom. Defeat Obama! -- National Rifle Association Facebook

Obama and The Holocaust Of The Unborn

What have we come to when it's "too extreme" to protect the rights of our unborn children? -- of whom God said, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you..." -- Jeremiah 1:5

Here's the larger quote by Romney from the debate, responding to questions by George Stephanopoulos:

"...in my view, if we had justices like Roberts, Alito, Thomas, and Scalia, and more justices like that, they might well decide to return this issue to states as opposed to saying it’s in the federal Constitution...Do I believe the Supreme Court should overturn Roe v. Wade? Yes, I do.”

We hope he means it, but one thing would be sure if Obama were not defeated:

Four more years of Obama would likely mean THIRTY more years of Roe v Wade, entrenched by pro-abortion Justices Obama would surely appoint.

The future may well ask, "Where were you during the Holocaust of the Unborn?"

I Shouldn't Be Shocked By Obama Voters

I shouldn't be shocked.  I really shouldn't.  I've been politically active since 1964.

But you know what I find kind of shocking?

It's the people I run across who are voting for Obama, and there are two things they can't tell me:

1. They can't tell me what Obama is going to do to increase jobs and grow the economy.

Actually, it doesn't shock me that they can't tell me what he will do, because he can't either (he doesn't know how, because he is ignorant of basic economics, and is advised by economic fools).

What shocks me is that they would actually vote for him, without the answer to that question.

2. They have not even read Romney's 5-Point Plan (http://www.mittromney.com), nor can they even name ONE of the five points!  But they know they hate them, whatever they are!  :)

Insanity.

I shouldn't be shocked by Obama voters.  Fortunately there are not enough of them this time to win.  There. That's my prediction :)

The Benghazi Cover-up The Mainstream Media Try To Ignore

Retired Admiral James A. Lyons, a 36-year Navy officer was the father of the Navy Red Cell, an anti-terrorism group comprised of Navy Seals he established in response to the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut.

He wrote an important article for the Washington Times which can be read here: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/oct/28/lyonsobama-needs-come-clean-what-happened-benghazi/?page=all

Here are some excerpts:

"...one of Stevens’ main missions in Libya was to facilitate the transfer of much of Gadhafi’s military equipment, including the deadly SA-7 – portable SAMs – to Islamists and other al Qaeda-affiliated groups fighting the Assad Regime in Syria."

"It now appears the White HousePentagonState DepartmentCIA, NDI, JCS and various other military commands monitored the entire battle in real time via frantic phone calls from our compound and video from an overhead drone. The cries for help and support went unanswered."

"The Obama national security team, including CIADNIState Department and the Pentagon, watched and listened to the assault but did nothing to answer repeated calls for assistance."

"...we had very credible military resources within striking distance. At our military base in Sigonella, Sicily, which is slightly over 400 miles from Benghazi, we had a fully equipped Special Forces unit with both transport and jet strike aircraft prepositioned."

"I know those Special Forces personnel were ready to leap at the opportunity. There is no doubt in my mind they would have wiped out the terrorists attackers. Also I have no doubt that Admiral William McRaven, Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, would have had his local commander at Sigonella ready to launch; however, apparently he was countermanded..."

"I also understand we had a C-130 gunship available, which would have quickly disposed of the terrorist attackers. This attack went on for seven hours. Our fighter jets could have been at our Benghazi mission within an hour. Our Special Forces out of Sigonella could have been there within a few hours. There is not any doubt that action on our part could have saved the lives of our two former Navy SEALs and possibly the ambassador."

"Having been in a number of similar situations, I know you have to have the courage to do what’s right and take immediate action. Obviously, that courage was lacking for Benghazi. The safety of your personnel always remains paramount. With all the technology and military capability we had in theater, for our leadership to have deliberately ignored the pleas for assistance is not only in incomprehensible, it is un-American."
